Implicit tests are able to establish the strength of feelings of a voter and hence enable us to infer their voting intentions. Hence combined with a traditional poll an implicit test can be more accurate than traditional polling alone. This applies to all forms of public polling from regional to national elections.
Implicit tests can also be used to identify the ways in which a political party or politician can appeal to voters by providing a profile on a range of suitable attributes. This can help a political party identify their appeal to voters and to different demographics.
